What this notice covers
This notice explains how BDE Ventures handles information connected to bde.io, including information sent through the contact form or to our listed email address. It does not govern an independent website, social platform, publisher, or other service reached through a link from this site.
Information we handle
The contact form asks for a name or company, email address, and the message a visitor chooses to send. If you contact us directly, we receive the information in that email.
Services used to deliver, protect, and understand the site may also process technical and performance information generated by a visit. Depending on the service and browser, that can include an IP address, browser or device details, pages or referring URLs, timestamps, network information, and page-performance signals.
Please do not put passwords, financial account details, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive personal information in a contact message. The form is designed for an initial business conversation, not for sending confidential materials.
How we use it
We use the information connected to this site to:
- receive, assess, and respond to an inquiry;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and its performance;
- help prevent spam, abuse, and other misuse of the contact flow;
- maintain appropriate records and handle legal, compliance, or business-administration needs when they apply.
We ask that a contact message include only the information needed to explain the reason for reaching out.
Providers and links
BDE Ventures uses Cloudflare to host and deliver the website. The site also uses Cloudflare web-performance analytics, which helps us understand how pages perform for visitors. Cloudflare's handling of information is governed by its own privacy policy.
When a visitor submits the contact form, the entry is sent to FormSubmit, a form-delivery service, so that it can be delivered to BDE Ventures at hello@bde.io. FormSubmit's privacy terms and service practices apply to its handling of that submission.
Links to social networks, publications, and other external sites are provided for convenience and context. Those sites are operated by their respective providers, which set their own privacy practices.
Retention and requests
BDE Ventures keeps inquiry information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage an active or prospective relationship, keep appropriate records, resolve issues, or meet applicable obligations. The right period depends on the purpose and the information involved.
To ask about information you have sent to BDE Ventures through this site, email hello@bde.io from the address used to contact us. Please tell us enough to locate the request. We may need to confirm the request before acting on it.
Sensitive information and security
Internet transmissions and electronic storage can never be guaranteed completely secure. Help us limit unnecessary exposure by sharing only the information needed for an initial inquiry and by using a suitable secure channel before sending anything confidential.
Privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or limits on certain uses of your personal information. You may also have a right to raise a concern with a relevant privacy authority.
